Biography
Upon graduating from Letchworth High School in 2002, I attended Canisius College of Buffalo, New York for four years. In May, 2006 I earned a B.S. in Digital Media Arts and an Academic Minor in Classics. In my final semester, I interned at world-renowned P22 Type Foundry where I learned a lot about typography, font design, and ASP.
Following graduation, I held a position as Web Designer/Developer at Deelicious Web Design in Warsaw, New York. However, within six months I began a new career at Algonquin Studios in Buffalo, New York as a Web Developer. I've worked at Algonquin for over a year now. There I do a combination of web design and development that involves writing HTML, CSS, Javascript, and XSLT. In addition, I am responsibile for maintaining web (and company) standards in HTML, CSS, and accessibilty for our websites and web applications; conducting browser testing; and an increasing amount of project management.
Outside of work, I enjoy reading, watching hockey, and playing Ultimate.

What would you can you do with free time, but start a new project?
BuckleburyFerry.net is my latest project. It is a Science Fiction and Fantasy themed blog that I maintain in my free time. There, I often recap and review my favorite television programs, write reviews for novels that I've recently read, and post any other random thoughts I might have. Check it out if you are into that sort of thing.
